Myk Willis, CEO and Founder
Myk founded Myxer in 2005 and continues to drive the company's strategy and evangelize its vision
of mobile as an empowering technology for the individual. A passionate entrepreneur, experienced
technologist, and published author, Myk is consumed by the challenge of building a better mobile
industry that embraces the openness of the internet. Prior to founding Myxer, Myk built a successful
technology consulting firm, and earlier served as lead developer for Citrix's flagship MetaFrame product.
Scott Kinnear, Chairman and President
Scott has over 25 years of software industry experience. Prior to Myxer, he served as Vice President,
World Wide Products of Citrix Systems, Inc., where he was responsible for over 500 employees. Scott
was the fourth employee at Citrix, and was instrumental in its growth into a large and successful software
company. Before Citrix, he spent eight years at IBM.
Bill Madden, Executive Vice President of Engineering
Bill Madden brings over 20 years of software engineering experience to Myxer. He is tasked with managing the
engineering team, and staying true to the corporate mission of helping the mobile phone realize its true
potential by simplifying all aspects of mobile content access, sharing and delivery. Before joining Myxer,
Bill was a Director of Software Development at Citrix Systems, Inc., where he managed the MetaFrame product
team and also served as the engineering liaison to Microsoft Corporation and implemented the technology co-licensing
agreement between the two companies.
Thomas E. Severson, Chief Financial Officer
Tom was appointed Chief Financial Officer of Myxer beginning in December of
2008. Prior to joining the Myxer team, Tom was Chief Financial Officer of
Nicklaus Companies, LLC (a business owned and operated by Jack Nicklaus and the
Nicklaus family). Prior to Nicklaus, Tom held several senior finance positions
in the media and entertainment industry including Chief Financial Officer of
publisher American Media, Inc, Chief Financial Officer of television station
and TV Network operator Paxson Communications (AMEX:ION) and Chief Accounting
Officer of television station operator Sinclair Broadcast Group (NASDAQ:SBGI).
Tom is a certified public accountant and started his career at the public
accounting firm of KPMG Peat Marwick.
Jeffrey Sass, Vice President of Business Development
Jeff has over 25 years experience as an entertainment, licensing and technology executive. He has co-founded
and run mobile commerce and technology companies, and he has written and produced for film and television.
A gadget geek and early adopter at heart, Jeff approaches partners and business opportunities with a deep
understanding of both the content owner's side and the technical advantages of the Myxer platform. When Jeff
is not on his phone making partner deals, he is playing with his phone "testing" Myxer's ringtones, wallpapers
and videos. Did we say Jeff is a gadget geek?
Steve Spiro, Vice President of Marketing
Steve brings over 30 years of business and marketing experience, working previously at both global
corporations and technology start-ups. He spent 15 years at Motorola in various senior management
roles both in the U.S. and Japan. He has also helped lead 4 Internet start-ups over the last 12
years in marketing roles including Audible, the leading provider of digital audiobooks. Steve loves
rooting for bad sports teams.
Sean Trigony, Vice President of Sales
Sean has 15 years experience in the advertising and entertainment industries. He has worked at
Tribune Broadcasting, Cox Communications and Sony Pictures Entertainment. Sean also started the
entertainment division of Career Sports and Entertainment. More recently, continuing his
entrepreneurial mindset, Sean was the SVP Sales of HowStuffWorks which was sold to Discovery
Communications in Dec. 2007. Sean has been an active member of the OPA and is currently on the
board of advisors to the mobile committee at IAB.
