Information Technology/Production Services Engineer
Responsibilities
- Maintain Myxer's internal servers, network, and phone system
- Manage Microsoft Exchange server
- Internal support for employee machines
- Perform regular backups of all systems
- Maintain off-site production servers, including new releases and minor updates
Requirements
- Two or more years experience maintaining Windows Servers, including experience with Microsoft Internet Information Server and Exchange
- Experience configuring and repairing desktop and laptop systems (hardware and software)
- Ability to create and maintain scripts
"Good to Have"
- Experience in maintaining Bugzilla, CVS, MediaWiki, and VPN connections
- Experience in maintaining MS SQL Server
- Experience with VoIP phone systems
- Familiarity with Linux
- Working knowledge of HTML
- BS/BA in MIS, Computer Science or related field

VP Products
Myxer is seeking a Vice President of Products to drive the definition and development of the company’s online
product offerings. This individual is responsible for translating the company’s vision into a strategic product
roadmap, and overseeing the implementation of each phase from concept to release. This is an executive level
position responsible for a staff of product managers, user experience designers, graphics artists, and
software developers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and evolve the company’s long term product roadmap
- Articulate and evangelize the merits and value proposition of products
- Perform cost/benefit analysis of new products and features
- Manage multiple product lines for various customers, including consumers, artists, application developers, and brand advertisers
- Interface with engineering, marketing, sales, and other functional groups to define product requirements and manage release schedules
- Define and enforce rigorous world-class product quality standards
- Manage interdepartmental project workflow to ensure successful product deliveries
- Lead and directly manage several employees including compensation, mentoring/coaching, career growth, travel/purchase requests, etc
- Contribute to the overall strategic plan and direction of Myxer
Other Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and manage team’s development processes, methodologies and process management toolsets.
- Provide technical direction, insight and review of product solutions. Recommend best practices.
- Interface with other managers and teams to ensure clear communication, seamless transitions and handoff of responsibilities.
- Serve as mentor for product managers, project leads and developers; Provide guidance and training to improve quality control, technical designs, documentation, efficiency and motivation of the team.
Requirements
- 5+ years experience in technology product leadership
- 3+ years delivering consumer-focused web applications
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including presentation skills
- Ability to operate in an extremely dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Excellent analytical problem solving and decision making skills
- Bachelors Degree required
- Location will be based out of Deerfield Beach, FL
