Bio: Zeek Butla was born Isaiah Butler and raised in Philadelphia PA, by his mother and grandmother. He spent most of his childhood in the West Oak Lane section of the city, however he moved around spending time in Roxborough, West Philly, Logan, Germantown and North Philly. Through his travels around the city, he was exposed to many different things which are displayed in his music. He is able to draw on these experiences to paint vivid pictures for listeners of the street life of Philadelphia. Zeek, however, is not just another ordinary street kid; he is also a devoted father of four children. This is a side which is also displayed in his music. With songs such as "Just in Case" and "Understand Me" Zeek shows listeners a more mature introspective side of himself. He is able to use his life experience to not only give you a piece of himself but also deliver heartfelt messages.
