Bio: the band XSZ formed in late 2000 and after going through some early dismemberment found a working lineup and began recording and playing shows in 2001 to the surprise, enjoyment, and often confusion of many. Syn grew up as transgender individual in a society that doesn't take too kindly to differences, especially those involving alternative lifestyles. The entire inspiration for this band stemmed from the emotions -the fear, the hatred, and the rejection- which we feel when we are being shut out by mainstream society. Syn knew exactly how it felt to be one of the black sheep, if not THE black sheep, and kept all of this in mind while writing the music for this project. X-Sister Z is currently recording their first full length release and as always is playing shows wherever they can.
