Winston Adonis Richards also known as A-General was born August 22nd, 1989 at St. John's Hospital in Far Rockaway, NY.
A-General was brought up listening to hip-hop and rap. Since birth the genre has been apart of his life, but it didn't impact his life until age 11. That was the first time he ever wrote a rap. His father walked to the radio, put on a Biggie instrumental and said, "Write something son."
Ever since it's been non stop writing and recording. Something that sets this artist apart from others is his ecclecticism. He is inspired by and listens to almost every genre of music.
