Root Road is a Christian pop trio comprised of three brothers; John, Anthony and Nathanael Gilkes. Their musical offering blends strong vocal harmonies, with familiar elements found in both past and present popular music to create an infectious uplifting sound. Originally from Lorain, Ohio the Gilkes brothers (known then as "G3 Band") played at many regional events including the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland as finalists in a Northeastern Ohio Christian talent competition. Recently releasing their independent sophomore album "I Am Here" and relocating to Nashville, TN, Root Road is now positioned to grow their audience even more intending to live up to their name; to direct listeners to connect to Christ, the true source of life.
