TexasStandUp is a Houston-based organization aimed at using hip-hop and other musical celebrities to get out the word on voting. Their immediate goals are to target the almost 1/2 million unregistered voters of color in Harris Country. Long term goal is turn Texas into a swing state for the 2012 election. The campaign is centered around viral videos, of which there are 60 total - including 5 non-partisan. Celebrities include Big Boi, Scarface, Redman, David Banner, Killer Mike, Slim Thug, and more!
