Terry Turner
Terry was born in Harlan, Kentucky on March 18th, 1956. During his youth he lived with his

grandmother who taught him to play the guitar. He was soon singing and playing in church when

he was so little they had to stand him on a stool so he would be seen from behind the pulpit. When

he was 11 years old, he saw the Elvis movie "Loving...

he was so little they had to stand him on a stool so he would be seen from behind the pulpit. When

he was 11 years old, he saw the Elvis movie "Loving You" and from that moment on he wanted to

be like Elvis. He continued to work every day at his singing and he entered and won many talent

contests through the years that followed. In 1971 when Terry was 15 years old, he began

performing shows as an Elvis Tribute Artist in local clubs and restaurants.

This was 7 years before Elvis passed away.

At the age of 17, Terry joined the United States Navy. While stationed in Jacksonville, Florida, he

went into a night club with some friends who talked him into singing with the club band. The club

offered him a job on the spot and this was the beginning of a very successful music career. read more

    I have known Terry and his wife Sherry since early 1980. He is an awesome entertiner and a even better better to know.
