Nile Valley Entertainment recording artist Rippa Jahson was born the eldest of five children in Kingston 13 Jamaica W.I. As a young man of only ten years Rippa began to sing, emulating singers such as : Leroy Gibbons and Michael Buckley. Mr. Jahson began singing professionlly at the age of thirteen in various talent shows and community events including "Ghetto Splash", his first big performance came at the tender age of 14 with such artists as: CAPT. BARKEY, WICKER MAN, GHOST, CULTURE AND DIGNITARY STYLISH. As a young man Rippa as performed in Europe, America and the Caribbean Islands with such artists as: SANCHEZ, BUSHMAN, GLEN WASHINGTON, FREDDY MCGREGOR, LUCIANO, JAH CURE, GARY GOLD, SLUGGY RANKS, SAMMY DREAD, CONROY SMITH, MICHAEL PALMER, JOE LICKSHOT, FRANKY PAUL, CAPELETON, ANDREW TOSH, JUNIOR GONG and ZIGGEY MARLEY just to name a few.
