Dave played country music the majority of his life. From the age of 8 at the ice house to all around Texas, then 23 years later he got married, had a daughter and decided to stay at home. June 10, 2001 he gave his life to the Lord and has never looked back. God laid the words to a song in his heart called Honkytonks to Heaven & continues to give him lyrics to reflect his life and the chains that Jesus broke that summer night in June on his back porch. 1/2006 he broke back onto the music scene with a couple handfuls of songs that he had written he began the journey that God now has him on. He began singing and playing again, regaining his stage presence, vocal ability and picking ability. January 2007, Davesigned with MGM Nashville as the labels first Christian Country artist. With the doors that God has opened, 2007 seems to be the year that Dave’s music will reach the world in such a way as not seen very many times, Country music with the message being all about Jesus.
