This recognition allowed Motongator Joe to embark on his 2006 Holler-n-Swaller Tour ,taking him from the upper Midwest & plains states to within 400 miles of the arctic circle in northern Alberta, Canada.

Motongator Joe is the 1st country music artist from the U.P. of Michigan to have a nationally released cut on country radio ( “She’s Got My Heart” January, 2004 on CDX #336 Track 15 ).

Feeling the public had been deprived of back to the basics country music, in 1997 Joe formed the “Motongator Movement.” Thousands annually respond to Joe’s vision by coming out to the largest ALL Country Music Festivals in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula and in South Dakota: Motongator Joe's Country Music Festival.
