Alex Styers grew up in Arlington Texas, where he decided to ultimately play the Saxophone. Alex Styers grew up in Arlington Texas, where he decided to ultimately play the Saxophone. An alumnus of the University of North Texas in 2006, Alex received a Bachelors Degree in Theatre Arts, and an Associate Degree in Spanish and in Saxophone Performance. While there, Alex perfected his abilities on the Soprano, Alto, and Tenor Saxophones, and also played with several local projects. He also is an Alumni Member of the Gamma Theta chapter of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Fraternity. Alex has toured with Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, Hairspray's National Tour, and various other musical projects. Currently, he is in the Dallas area playing with local bands.
