At age 13, Johnnie Gee earned his own living as a entertainer (Lead Vocalist), after 30 plus years Brunswick Records Paul Tarnopol, Nat Tarnopol's son, took over the company an re-issued the original LP "I Always Wanted To Be In The Band" , some songs on the LP were put on compilations, JVC, BMG and Brunswick Licensed the product to be sold in Japan, USA, Belgum, and other Foreign countries.
