Drake is a band that has its roots in jungles of northern Michigan, millions of years ago when magic was in the atmosphere and shaped the area known as Camp Michi-Lu-Ca. Eric Engblade and Nathan Schleicher decided to combine their musical influences together to create something entirely their own called Drake, in homage to their love of the prolific singer-songwriter of the early 1970s Nick Drake that brought them together. Two years later they released their first all original full length album and are in midst of promoting their efforts. They have toured all over Michigan and they're most recent summer tour was their biggest yet. Touching as far south as Elizabethtown KY, as far North as Alpena MI, as far west as Chicago IL, and as far east as Cleveland OH, experience guides them as they continue to spread their music. Though they are both accomplished vocalists and guitarists, they round out their performances with mandolins, drums, and more in any given set as well.
