After THE GOLDMINERS had opened a show for Grand Old Opry member and CMA award winner Charlie Daniels, they knew they had arrived. While still hungry for the joy and gratitude of playing to jam-packed and excited audiences, THE GOLDMINERS now felt they really had a story to share with their future grandchildren.
This is a band whose love and belief in the songs they sing and the music they play has carried them through nearly a decade of good times, and some of the not so good times that real life in a real band can bring. In the end it is all about the music for THE GOLDMINERS. In fact, it was music that brought the beginnings of the band together in the mid-90's when founding member Russell Thomas had a band called "Gyrosperm" booked at his now legendary nightclub called "The Fallen Star" .
The guitar player of this band was Bruce Henry Hayes, and the rest is what they now call history.
