Initially, at age seven, Cy-Harp started fulfilling his music career due to a strong desire to impress his older brother. Not receiving the things he wanted, and often the necessities needed to live matured and aged Cy-Harp early in life. Finishing his adolescent years residing in his father’s household, which supplied life’s necessities, provided Cy-Harp the advantage of having life experience on both ends of the spectrum. He expresses this knowledge throughout his music, and therefore relates to listeners of all backgrounds.
