New American standard began years ago, in the dark, sinful clubs and bars in central Ohio. Five young men, all in different secular bands, were searching for something of a meaning to life. They filled their days and nights with a never ending search for more. Each member on their own search, be it more drugs, more money, more alcohol, more sex, and the list goes on. Each with their own vices. Nothing fulfilling them. Then, all at different times and in different ways, God presented the Gospel of Jesus Christ to them as a meaning, and a purpose to their existence. They have been forever changed by the experience. They have chosen to serve God with the musical abilities He has bestowed upon them, with the blessing that only He can provide.
