Bio: midatlantic is a Brit-bowing Boston-n-Dublin quartet delivering gorgeously amped music that’s anthemic, melodic, and driving. Formed in 2004, the band writes songs meant to ride the line between what’s timeless and what’s current— and with their highly acclaimed 2006 debut release “Life without Computers” unleashed nine dance-charged tracks that are at once comfortably classic and refreshingly forward thinking.
Drawing on the energy, melodies, and sonic landscapes of bands like The Who, U2 and The Cure, The Bleedins dance up these influences and draw in listeners with unforgettable hooks. The result is inspired and inspiring. Their second full-length CD, “The Longest Silence,” is set for release in fall 2008.
