Johnny T. & Due South have emerged as one of the most dynamic, creative, and exciting groups to hit the Nashville music scene in a long time. The combination of incredible stage presence and vocal abilities from lead singer John Teschko, combined with virtuoso-like musicianship and 3 part harmonies from the members of Due South, results in an impressive and extremely edgy sound that is sure to lure fans of all ages.
Johnny T. and Due South formed in the August of 2004 when a mutual friend introduced lead singer John Teshcko and drummer Chris Meece. The two became fast friends and began working tirelessly on putting a full band together. Over the next year and a half the band slowly coalesced around Chris and Johnny, and in March of 2006, they performed their first gig in front of a packed house at the French Quarter in Nashville.
Johnny T. & Due South have only been a working entity for just under a year, and they have already entertained thousands of enthusiastic fans and recorded their first album.
