Hello, I'm Carissa Amberly. I am 16 years old and from Longview, Texas. Let me tell you a little bit about myself. In 2006, I won the Texas Country Music Hall Of Fame Competition in Carthage, Tx. Since then I have performed on many shows in Branson such as Mickey Gilley's, Jim Stafford's, Jim Owen's, Hamner Barber's and Doug Gabriel's. Along with many shows in Nashville in 2007 as well. Such as Jeannie Seely Show, and The Ernest Tubb Midnight Jamboree. You can check out my pictures on my myspace and also on my website at www.carissaamberly.com
I'm being played on many radio stations across the country with all of my songs, but the main one being "Some Heroes Don't Come Back". This song has hit home to so many people and I am very touched by that. Bill Mack with Open Road XM Satellite 171 along with Billy and April play my music regularly and they get requests for my music regularly as well. One of their favorites is "Soldiers and Truckers". A song written by a dear friend of mine Howard Salmon.
