Bob Sima literally burst onto the singer-songwriter scene after taking hiatus from his band Stereopool, a highly successful acoustic power trio from the Annapolis, MD area.
In November 2006, Bob released his debut solo album entitled POUR IT ON, an eclectic collection of songs captured "in the moment" with a very live feel. Produced in Bloomington, Indiana by David Weber (Krista Detor, Carrie Newcomer), 'Pour It On' quickly received "CD OF THE YEAR" honors by the former Westside Café. Players include Krista Detor, Jason Wilber (John Prine, Todd Snider, Iris Dement), and Slats Klug.
Bob’s song "Amazed By You" landed him in the top 1% of all time in the Acoustic Genre at GARAGEBAND.COM, and he reached #2 All-Time Male Vocals (Acoustic). His music has won awards from Songwriteruniverse.com and the coveted Grand Prize in the 2008 Wildflower Songwriter Competition. Bob is completing work on his newest album PERIPHERY to be released later this year.
