Well, while he was on tour in New Mexico, Devin received the long anticipated phone call that to him seemed like the clouds parted and more than the sun was shining down on him when he discovered that it was Johnny Cash's son, John Carter Cash, asking Devin to come to the Cash Cabin Studio in Nashville because he wanted to produce Devin’s Cd. As so many singers await the chance of a lifetime, Devin knew this was the chance that he had been striving for all these years. Devin's answer was more than a yes. Devin went to Nashville and met John Carter Cash and the crew. They went through a vast and vigorous song selection and narrowed it down to 12 songs.
