Hasan Ismeal Green, a native of Lafayette, Al is the oldest of three children. Hasan is a 2007 graduate of Lafayette High School where he graduated number six in his class. Hasan has been singing since he was six years old. His greatest inspirations were and still are his great aunt Emma Sue Green and his great grandmother, Maudie Sue Green. In 2000, he entered a national talent search sponsored by McDonald’s in Birmingham, Alabama. Out of 50 contestants, Hasan was selected as first place winner to represent the state of Alabama at the legendary Apollo Theater. He won first place on his first night appearance at “It’s Showtime at The Apollo Kid’s. Currently Hasan is the Minister of Music at Pine Grove United Methodist Church, White Plains, Alabama and The Greater Poplar Springs Baptist Church, Lafayette, Al. He is also a second year student at the Jacksonville State University in Jacksonville, Al where he majors in Music Education. There he is involved in the Gospel choir and the A Cappella Choir.
