Reigning from Central Ohio, BeautyStrikesBack is the imaginative partnership of friends Greggory Pruett and Jonathan Thompson. Born in a small, dusty family basement, BeautyStrikesBack began slowly fabricating their compositions using a computer, mics with duct tape, and even a bass played upsidedown. The duo began their creative alliance in 2006, when, realizing they came from different musical backgrounds, the two decided to put their thoughts together and come up with a mixture of musical wonder. The group has a plethora of influences/sounds ranging from DJ-style beats and electro-rock ballads, to acoustic simplicity. They just finished up work on their first release, The Art of Illusioneering EP.
