Artist Aggregation with Myxer

Artist aggregation is a feature of Myxer that allows a user to manage multiple Share accounts under a single account. This is useful for record labels and others who may want to handle the sharing of items for multiple artists. The Share accounts remain independent of each other.

Who should use artist aggregation?

Artist aggregation is for people who have more than one band or artist for who they want to Share ringtones and wallpapers. Record labels and artist aggregators will be the primary users.

How it works

Once you create a second Share account, the Share & Sell pages will adjust to reflect this. When you are sharing a new item you will have to pick the artist from your list of Share accounts. When viewing the activity you will be able to choose an artist from a drop down list. Each artist's activity will be tracked separately from the others.

Different Share settings are stored with each account created. They are independent of each other. When configuring an account from the Share pages under My Account, you will need to select the artist account that want to modify.

Getting Paid

Payouts are are still made through Pay Pal. The Pay Pal account is configured only once for a user's account and all payouts are made to that account. Each month you will receive a separate payout for each Share account. This allows each artist's revenue to be tracked separately.
