Myxer has an open
Application Programming Interface (API).
This means that
anyone can build their own innovative mobile applications - or add mobile
functionality to existing applications - using the same
radically simplified
mobile content and service delivery engine that powers the Myxer website.

Getting Started
To use the Myxer APIs, you'll need to request an API key.
(You don't need an API key if you just want to use feeds).
Once you have an API key, you can use the programming environment of your choice to interface
with any of the documented public APIs. While the APIs are made available with a simple HTTP-based
interface, we do have open source client libraries hosted on SourceForge that make interfacing
with Myxer even easier.
